Susan Searle

Susan was first introduced to yoga in Las Vegas, NV in 1996. In the beginning, as a fitness instructor and a former gymnast, she was skeptical of the practice, but after her first experience of yoga she has not stepped off her mat since. She believes the dedication of coming onto our mats, quieting our thoughts, moving our bodies, and connecting to our breath, brings clarity and balance to the busyness of our everyday lives. Susan hopes that yoga will help her students to discover their own steady, quiet, and powerful sacred place within.

Susan holds a 200-hour certification from the Yoga Alliance registered School Yoga Institute, a 75 hr. Off the Mat and Into the World Leadership Training with Sean Corn, a 50 hr. Advanced Alignment training with Becca Roodhuyzen and has studied under various other teachers. She is a former owner/director of the Gunnison Yoga Sanctuary and yoga teacher for Western State University. She holds a MA in pastoral spirituality which influences her practice and study of yoga. Susan is an artist, loves to be outdoors, and has a passion for working with teenagers.
